Central New York Earth Science Student Symposium 2009
Fourth annual student symposium was hosted by the Syracuse University Department of Earth Sciences Geology Club
Students had the opportunity to share and present their research during two poster sessions, interact with industry representatives at a lunch sponsored by VeruTEK Technologies Inc., and attend three lectures given by prominent Earth Scientists in our field:
- Dr. Henry Posamantier - Senior Consultant Geologist from Chevron Energy Technology Company
- Dr. Dave Barbeau - Tectonic Sedimentologist from University of South Carolina
- Dr. Peter Wilf - Paleobotanist from Pennsylvania State University
